Masterclasses Day on 5th May was one of our most successful to date.
78 students from 20 ballet schools attended and we were delighted to welcome students from Port Pirie and Tanunda.
Brett Simon, Dale Pope, Valentina Pavlova, Chylie Cooper and Cheryl Bradley delivered diverse sessions, the quality of which provided amazing learning opportunities and experience for our eager students; feedback from the day has been extremely positive.
We are very grateful to our sponsor Smart Health Training & Services who again sponsored the Smart Dancer Awards and dance schools who generously assisted us on the day.
FABSA members, committee and Friends enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on Sunday 22 July 2018 at the Adelaide College of the Arts with guest speaker Lisa Pavane, Director of The Australian Ballet School.
Lisa had attended The Australian Ballet School Masterclasses earlier in the day which provide her with the opportunity to view in a class setting, dancers who may aspire to join the school in Melbourne.

From the proceeds of events and membership fees, FABSA was delighted to again show our financial support of The Australian Ballet company during the recent Adelaide season. As a Principal Patron, FABSA helps to ensure the continuing high standard of all facets of artistic productions and the ability of The Australian Ballet to regularly perform in city, regional and international venues.
